The right to bear arms comes with responsibility. While yes, it is our constitutional right to bear arms, it is also our responsibility to use all firearms safely and in accordance with Federal, State and local laws.
Freedom First Firearms concealed carry class will teach you all aspects on how to safely own and use your firearm properly, and serves as a concealed carry course for Cincinnati, Ohio and surrounding areas. In this basic 12 hour pistol course we will cover: Pistol knowledge and the safe handling of a firearm, local State and Federal firearm laws, the different components of a pistol cartridge, how to properly handle and store ammunition, the major types of cartridge malfunctions, the fundamentals of pistol shooting, how to properly fire a pistol from the benchrest, two handed and one handed standing positions, how to use the correct material and tools to safely clean and maintain a pistol, how to properly score a target, the basic guidelines for purchasing a pistol that you are comfortable with and how to pursue various shooting activities.
Upon completion of this concealed carry course, passing a written exam and qualifying with your pistol you will be awarded a Basic Pistol Certificate from the National Rifle Association. This certificate, awarded by our N.R.A. Instructors, certifies that you are properly trained, educated and have the right attitude to safely carry a concealed firearm. The Basic Pistol certification will allow you to apply for your Carry Concealed Permit in the State of Ohio and Florida.

Courses are taught on either a Saturday or Sunday(call for our current schedule) This is an all in one day, 12 hour course. Upon completion, you will have ALL the needed documentation, notarized applications, photographs and certificates to apply for your Ohio and Florida license the next business day. If our current schedule does not work for you, call us at 513-315-1507, ask for Jeff, we can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule. If you are thinking of taking the course with friends and/or family, we offer a discount for groups, and you can choose YOUR DATE. We can also work around your schedule and break up the 12 hour course over a period of days, just give Jeff a call and he will work it out. Don't forget, if not owning a handgun is what's holding you back, we can supply them for the course free of charge, just let us know.
We offer classes in basic pistol(CCW Certification), personal protection in the home, personal protection outside the home, and home firearm safety.
